From stagnant to liberated
...
For this unique and individually expressive workshop, we will come together in a mat-less universe (or at the very least, shift out of our regimented mat set allignment) as we connect to and mirror image the rise and fall, ebb and flow and become the surf and surfer that via Jala; the sacred water element. In relation to our creative spark, we will explore sahaja; the spontaneous expression of familiar movements while embracing the fluid body and rolling wave of the spine. This class will include a lot of fluid upper body, water-like movement, arching/backbending shapes with an intention to liberate and lubricate the spine.  All levels welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Muladhara Chakra:

In this slow, fluid and peace-filled practice, we will align with our connection to the grounding Earth energy element in a variety of hip openers and forward folds. Through unique, graceful and meditative sequencing, deep breath combined with devotional mantra and music will inspire our movement and pulsation within yoga asana.
